Books and ledger

A correct set of books underneath everything, kept by the system.

Double-entry ledger

Journal entries, trial balance and fiscal periods; postings are never edited, only reversed; invoices, bills, receipts, payments and TDS all post.

Gapless numbering

Invoice series per financial year and GSTIN with no gaps.

Effective-dated GST rates

Every rate resolved against the document date; an abolished slab cannot be applied to a current invoice.

Hash-chained audit log

Every change recorded in an append-only chain that can be verified.

Inventory

Stock moves when documents are confirmed; weighted-average or FIFO valuation; reorder planning against cash.

Customers and vendors

Type the GSTIN and the legal name, trade name, state and registered address are read from the GST register, with a warning if the registration is cancelled; each party shows what it owes or is owed.

Journal

Every entry with its lines and the document behind it; a document that should not have been confirmed is cancelled and its entry reversed in one step, reason kept, nothing deleted.

Chart of accounts

Add your own heads — a term loan, a fixed deposit, an EMD, a partner's capital — under any parent of the same kind, with the account types an accountant expects: Other Current Asset, Fixed Asset, Credit Card, Non Current Liability, Cost of Goods Sold.

Reports Center

Profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, trial balance, general ledger and day book; sales by customer and item; AR and AP ageing; payments received; expenses by category; a GST summary by rate — any period, CSV or print, with a star for the ones you keep opening.
