What is VyaparSetu?
VyaparSetu is accounting and GST compliance software for GST-registered small businesses in India — traders, distributors, light manufacturers, workshops, professional services and small B2B supply chains turning over roughly ₹25 lakh to ₹25 crore. It reconciles GSTR-2B against the purchase register and recommends IMS actions, prepares GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B from the books with the statutory ITC set-off order, registers e-invoices (IRN) and e-way bills through a GSP, chases overdue invoices on WhatsApp with consent enforced, records payments through Razorpay links, forecasts cash and reorder needs, keeps a double-entry ledger with an immutable audit trail, and answers questions about the business by voice in eleven Indian languages. It connects to Zoho Books, Tally, spreadsheets and, through Zapier, to Google Sheets, Slack, Gmail, Shopify and thousands more.
Who is VyaparSetu for?
GST-registered small businesses in India with roughly ₹25 lakh to ₹25 crore turnover: traders, distributors, light manufacturing, workshops, professional services, small B2B supply chains — and the accountants who serve them.
Is VyaparSetu GST compliant for India?
It is built around India's GST law as it stands: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation with IMS, QRMP and composition profiles, e-invoicing and e-way bills through a registered GST Suvidha Provider, and the current filing guardrails (three-year bar, 30-day e-invoice window, GSTR-3B hard-locking). Rates are effective-dated, so the September 2025 rate change and earlier slabs both apply correctly by document date.
Does it file returns automatically?
It prepares and transmits; the taxpayer authenticates. Filing needs an EVC OTP sent by the GST system to the signatory's own registered mobile (or a DSC), and that step cannot be automated by any software. Nothing is filed without a person's explicit confirmation.
How does WhatsApp collection work without breaking Meta's rules?
Reminders go through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API using approved utility templates. Consent is recorded where it was captured (consent gathered inside WhatsApp is refused, because Meta refuses it), opt-out is absolute, there is one contact per debtor per day, and a live promise to pay pauses the ladder.
Does it work with Tally, Zoho Books, Excel?
Yes. Zoho Books connects per business (read-only) with a nightly sync; Tally XML exports and Excel/CSV registers import into a review queue before posting.
Does it connect to Zapier?
Yes. Each business creates its own key on the Integrations page and pastes it into Zapier once. Seven triggers, two actions and three searches are available, with ready-made setups for Google Sheets, Slack, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Forms and Shopify.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, an Android app; iOS is a build target. The web app is mobile-first and works one-handed.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu — by voice or text, with answers read aloud.
Where is my data stored and who can see it?
In a Supabase (PostgreSQL) project on AWS Tokyo with row-level security as the tenant boundary. GSP keys, the WhatsApp token and payment secrets stay on the server. The privacy policy lists every processor and retention period the software actually enforces.
How much does it cost?
Priced per business, not per user. Tiers are One GSTIN, Multi-GSTIN and Practice (for accountants). Prices are not yet announced; GSP API calls and WhatsApp conversations are pass-through costs shown separately.
Can it connect to my bank automatically?
Not yet. Automatic bank feeds in India run through the Account Aggregator framework, which only regulated entities may join; until a regulated partner is in place, bank statements are imported and matched to invoices.
